A school district in the Houston, TX area seeks licensed specialists in school psychology to support K-12 students through a contract assignment lasting until June 5, 2026. This opportunity is ideal for licensed professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in diverse educational settings. Candidates will work onsite, facilitating direct collaboration with school staff and students.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
  • Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations.
  • Bilingual skills are highly desirable for at least one candidate.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to onsite work, as remote or voco assignments are not accepted.
