Description

• Craft tailored treatment strategies focused on both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver focused therapy sessions emphasizing communication skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and families to implement comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education for patients and their families to support therapeutic progress beyond clinical visits.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the therapy journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation that aligns with regulatory guidelines.
• Limitlessly pursue continuing education and peer engagement to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in line with ASHA certification standards preferred.

Certifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Therapist in the state.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
