Summary:
The Patient Educator Hematology collaborates with patients/families, patient???s school and/or homebound tutor, and other healthcare professionals involved with the patient???s care to assess learning needs.Responsibilities:
1.Collaborates with patients/families, patient???s school and/or homebound tutor, and other healthcare professionals involved with the patient???s care to assess learning needs.Other information:
Technical Expertise 1.Experience to make appropriate recommendations and interventions for patients' educational needs is required.
2.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
3.Experience in healthcare is preferred.
4.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
1.Education: Bachelor???s Degree in Education is required.
2.Certification: Valid State of Ohio teaching certificate [K-12] is required. BLS certification is required
of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is required
