Organization Overview
This opportunity is with a well-established urgent care group serving the greater New Haven area. The organization operates six standalone urgent care centers, each located within approximately 35 minutes of one another.
Clinics provide full-service urgent care, workers' compensation evaluations, and select primary care services. Providers are supported by experienced medical assistants, on-site X-ray, labs, procedure rooms, and an efficient workflow through the Experity EMR platform.
Each facility is designed to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, walk-in clinical environment.
Position Summary
The group is seeking multiple Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its urgent care network across six nearby locations.
In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients of all ages, perform standard urgent care procedures, and support occupational medicine services. Depending on the clinic and shift, you may work independently or alongside another physician or advanced practice provider.

Essential Position Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care evaluation and management for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Perform standard urgent care procedures, including :
- Suturing
- Splinting
- Incision & drainage
- Basic orthopedics
- Conduct workers' compensation physicals and occupational medicine services
- Rotate between six clinic locations within a 35-minute radius
- Work independently or collaboratively based on site volume and staffing
- Document accurately using Experity EMR
- Deliver efficient, patient-centered care in a high-volume walk-in setting
- Maintain compliant clinical documentation and follow organizational protocols
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited MD or DO programCompleted residency in Family Medicine or Emergency MedicineLicensure & Certification
