Position Purpose

The Field Representative assists the installation manager in achieving quality installations. Close collaboration with the installation department, sales teams, and subcontractors is involved in ensuring the jobs run smoothly. Effective communication and teamwork with these key stakeholders are crucial for successfully executing the role.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Perform daily inspections:
• Jobsite readiness
• Installation of exterior door & window, decking, porch railing, interior trim, door hardware, and cabinet shoe.
• Submit material list to installation group and sales team.
• Send detailed material pick-up to sales to schedule.
• Create punch lists.
• Send in repairs to the installation group with pictures
• Check materials pulled by the warehouse for the Service Technicians before they load the vehicle.
• Review the TeamUp calendar for scheduled pre and post-walks.
• Assist service techs in performing service/warranty tasks when needed.
• Meet service technicians or subcontractors at appointments when needed.
• Deliver materials when required.
• Email all communications in real-time.
• Update the TeamUp calendar in real-time.

Requirements:

• A valid NC driver's license is a must for this role, underlining the importance of this qualification in the Field Representative's responsibilities.
• Effective communication is key in this role.
• The Field Representative must be able to read and comprehend instructions, communicate effectively with builders and installers, understand product installation instructions, read blueprints, and present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to operate Microsoft Outlook, builders web-based portals, and online calendar used for scheduling
• General understanding of the installed product lines; troubleshooting and repairing products in the field; performing water tests inspecting for leaks; understanding PPE and safety requirements.
• Ability to use discretion and independent judgment.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
