[job_card.job_description]Perform on-boarding of new staff, including safety, FOD and operator training guide Identifies and assesses technical training needs within organization Develops, organizes, conducts and evaluates technical training programs Computer systems Applications Machinery Other technical products Create, prepare, and update program-related training content, for existing and new programs Develops and maintains training manuals or other documentation Documents training, assesses effectiveness and progress, reports progress and make changes to training as needed. Schedule, perform, and track all recurring and refresher trainings Facilitate Port training and qualification by Manufacturing staff Create and administer evaluation criteria Site Safety Coordination Drive safety improvements at site Drive annual safety training and tracking Manage safety logs for site Participate in organization safety teams Export Compliance Greet visitors and complete visitor safety training Assist with visitor travel as needed Maintain office supply ordering through purchasing team Performs any other function or responsibility as assigned Five to seven years of manufacturing experience preferred This position requires initiative, motivation, creativity and ability to understand many areas of expertise Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to produce and deliver quality training programs. Knowledge of Power Point, Word and Excel or similar programs. Training experience preferred. Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively direct trainees and other professionals while in a training class environment and to properly evaluate comprehension and application of subject material

Purpose of the Job :
The trainer is responsible for researching, designing, developing and delivering technical training to employees. Trainer maintains records of training, and evaluates the effectiveness of training through testing and practical application.
