Maintenance Superintendent Rendering, Wastewater & Grease Recovery

Location : Tolleson, AZ

Reporting to : Plant Engineer

Overview : We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead our Rendering, Wastewater, and Hides operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment and systems are running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, exceptional team management skills, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, problem solving and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise the maintenance teams across Rendering, Wastewater Treatment, and Hides.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs on mechanical, electrical, and wastewater systems.
• Manage rebuilds, upgrades, and major projects, including contractor coordination
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and prepare for audits
• Collaborate with production and environmental teams to meet operational goals
