PET/CT Technologist - Float between 3 locations
Brooklyn, Manhattan, Washington Heights
$59.00 - $74 per hour + OT eligible
Monday-Friday | Schedule between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Overview

A well-established, multi-site diagnostic imaging organization in New York City is seeking experienced PET/CT Technologists to support growing PET/CT imaging volume. This is a direct-hire opportunity that will float across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Washington Heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures using advanced imaging equipment
• Administer radioactive compounds for diagnostic imaging
• Process and enhance images for physician interpretation
• Monitor patient condition throughout imaging procedures
• Communicate with radiologists regarding scan protocols and complex exams
• Educate patients on procedures to ensure comfort and safety
• Maintain radiation safety standards in accordance with ALARA principles
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot PET/CT equipment
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (Bachelor's preferred)
• NMTCB and/or ARRT-N certification required
• Active New York State license
