Job description:

An established Environmental Company is seeking a reliable and experienced Shuttle Driver based out of Bakersfield, CA.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for shuttling loads from Bakersfield to Fresno, Sacramento or Hayward and back daily. Equipment includes tankers. This is a local run—you’ll be home every day.

Shift Info:

  • PM second shift
  • Start times range between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM depending on the daily schedule
  • Sunday through Thursday – days off Friday and Saturday

Job details:

  • Hourly pay – company-paid position $31.00-32.00 per hour DOE
  • Full-time
  • Uniforms provided
  • Boot stipend after 90 days
  • Health benefits after 60 days

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL with doubles, tankers, and hazmat endorsements
  • No license restrictions
  • Proficient in manual transmission (must be able to shift and downshift properly)
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience with:
  • Pulling doubles
  • Operating tankers
  • Clean MVR and strong work ethic
