Job Summary:
The Facilities Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas of the facility meet hygiene and appearance standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, and furniture to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners regularly.
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks as designated by the Facilities Supervisor, including carpet cleaning and window washing.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities Supervisor.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all personnel.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to fulfill cleaning requests promptly.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism while interacting with staff and visitors.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is an advantage but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. as required.

Additional Information:

- The position may require working flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on the needs of the facility.
- Glass Cleaning: Once a month (entry doors and nearby panels, as high as you can reach), Exterior glass cleaning ONLY, both doors and 3 panels of glass to the right and left of the doors. Only as high as you can reach.
