Job Description:
A Massage Therapist is a licensed professional responsible for providing massage therapy services to clients in a safe and therapeutic manner. They work in various settings, including spas, wellness centers, medical offices, and as independent practitioners. In this role, your primary responsibilities include:

1. Client Assessment: Conducting initial consultations with clients to assess their specific needs and health conditions to determine the most appropriate massage techniques.

2. Massage Services: Administering various massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy massages, tailored to each client's requirements.

3. Treatment Plans: Developing personalized treatment plans and recommending a series of sessions, if necessary, to address clients' concerns and improve their well-being.

4. Client Comfort: Ensuring clients are comfortable and informed about the massage process, including draping and undraping procedures.

5. Hygiene and Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace, including sanitizing equipment and supplies after each session.

6. Record-Keeping: Keeping detailed records of client information, treatment plans, and progress notes to track improvements and plan future sessions.

7. Client Education: Educating clients on post-massage self-care and providing advice on lifestyle changes to promote overall health.

8. Communication: Effectively communicating with clients to gather feedback and adjust massage techniques as necessary.

9. Continuing Education: Staying current with the latest massage therapy techniques and attending training or workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

10. Compliance: Adhering to all relevant state and local regulations and licensing requirements.

Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $50 per hour of massage. Additional earnings may come from tips and repeat business from satisfied clients.

Requirements:
1. State licensure as a Massage Therapist.

5. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massages for extended periods.
