JAC Metal Building Contractors is seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as a Service Crew Member. As a Service Crew Member, you will work closely with the Service Lead and other team members to perform various repair and maintenance tasks for our clients' metal buildings. Your primary responsibilities will include following directions, assisting with tools and materials, performing repairs, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean work area. No experience required, we offer training. 1-year experience is preferred. This job requires you to travel all over the United States in company vehicle. We have multiple positions available now.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support Service Lead:

- Follow the directions provided by the Service Lead and assist in completing assigned tasks.

- Collaborate with the Service Lead and other team members to ensure efficient and effective repair work.

2. Tool and Material Handling:

- Carry tools and materials to and from the work area, ensuring they are readily available for repairs.

- Assist in maintaining an inventory of materials used, notifying the Service Lead when supplies need replenishment.

3. Roof and Wall Repairs:

- Perform roof repairs, identifying and addressing leaks and other issues as directed by the Service Lead.

- Assist in wall repairs, including cleaning work areas, buffing rusted panels with a grinder, and applying mastic material and caulking to repair areas.

4. Documentation and Compliance:

- Sign a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) every morning to acknowledge understanding of potential risks and safety measures.

- Check in each day by signing the check-in sheet to indicate your presence on the job site.

5. Cleanliness and Organization:

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored after use.

- Clean the work area thoroughly once repairs are completed, leaving it in a neat and presentable condition.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certifications are a plus.

- Previous experience in construction, building maintenance, or related fields is preferred.

- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.

- Basic understanding of tools and their usage.

- Strong attention to detail and a focus on maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

- Must be able to speak English and Spanish. Bilingual required.

-Must be willing to Travel 80-90% of the year

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
