Material Handler

Position Overview :

As a Material Handler youre a member of an assigned production crew reporting to the Plant Warehouse Supervisor. You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility. The Tampa plant is high-volume fast-paced 24 / 7-365 days / year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 4 days on / 4 days off rotating from days to nights and back every 4 weeks (6a-6p / 6p-6a)

Your Key Responsibilities Include :

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures etc.
• Operate forklift and coordinate products including raw materials scrap finished goods packaging materials chemicals and other supplies.
• Effectively communicate with vendors delivery drivers and customers.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating
• communicating and upholding ethical integrity.
