Courier Position

Under general supervision, couriers are responsible for picking up and transporting specimens, reports, and supplies following a designated route.

Core functions include :

• Providing clients with consistent and high-quality level of service through effective communication, picking up specimens, delivering lab results, and supplies.
• Operating company vehicle, including daily vehicle inspection, safe and defensive driving, and ordering required maintenance.
• Utilizing mobile data terminal to accurately record routine and will call client stops, specimen counts and types. Responsible for reporting client route information.
• Communicating with dispatch by radio or telephone on all service-related issues.
• Training new couriers on routes.
