The Henry Ford Health Sterling Heights Emergency Department is a 15-bed free-standing facility.
Our staff has a close working relationship. The physicians, nurses, and technicians are all centrally located for ease of collaboration and communication, which leads to a positive work environment.
While a small ED, we are fast paced and work well together. We are looking for candidates to join our team.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Assist with patient care based on individual needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of a registered nurse or Provider.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
· High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Previous Emergency Dept Technician, MA or Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
· BCLS certification required.
LICENSURES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
One of four certifications required:
· B-EMT,
· Graduate from a formal Medical Assistant program,
· Completion of a formal nursing education program to practice as an RN offshore,
· Completion of a formal medical doctor education program to practice as a medical doctor offshore.
· EMT license preferred.
· Successful completion of a -day orientation period required.
