[job_card.job_description]Adhering to all Environmental Health and Safety Policies and maintaining a clean work environment. Maintain a tidy work environment by following good housekeeping practices in maintenance and tool storage areas and promptly cleaning up the work area after each job. Perform start-up of new plant equipment Install new equipment and rearrange existing equipment as required. Install Schedule 80 PVC piping including cutting fitting and gluing. Respond to plant emergency repairs as needed. Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and plumbing systems. Maintain preventative maintenance records and perform preventative maintenance on plant Perform other duties as assigned. Strong mechanical aptitude Proficiency in using hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Attention to detail Electrical panel board experience Motor Controls experience Positive displacements pump repair experience Trade school experience for electrical plumbing carpentry and / or mechanical repair is highly desired High School Diploma G.E.D. Home School Certification or international equivalent to High School Diploma Minimum of 3 years experience of PVC plumbing OR mechanical repair and maintenance work experience At least 5 years of maintenance work experience Travel for field repair and install if needed Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting climbing working at elevated heights and manual dexterity Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities manufacturing facilities and power industry facilities Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not
Job Summary :
The Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery general
repairs installing new equipment and systems and preventative maintenance program on all assigned
machinery as directed by supervisor
