Working understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment. TDD (Test Driven Development), Object Oriented Programming, Unit Test Creation. Technical leadership charisma to build trust with team members, peers, management. Ability to learn new development languages and ways of working to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. Strong interpersonal skill with a customer service oriented attitude and a desire to help others succeed. "Hybrid" : will be mostly remote, client just prefers someone who is within drivable distance to Newport News so they can come in as needed. 1st shift, Monday-Friday. Overview :
We are currently hiring an experienced Software Engineer for a hybrid position based out of Newport News, VA. This position will be mostly remote, but they need someone who is close enough who can come onsite when needed.
Description :
- Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software.
- Set operational specifications, and formulate and analyze software requirements.
- May design embedded systems software.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00 / hr.
