[job_card.job_description]Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. At least 1 year of experience in a critical care setting is preferred, but we welcome new graduates as well. BLS certification required. Current RN License in the state of employment or compact. ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire. Attendance at New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. Preceptorship with a trained staff member and successful completion of designated competency validations. Complete annual competency verification requirements.

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse who excels in both routine and complex care within a fast-paced clinical environment. If you have a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities :
- Embody the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Support patients and their families by addressing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
- Identify learning needs and equip patients and caregivers with necessary education and resources.
