We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Beach Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation care in North Miami Beach, Florida. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence.

Summary :

As an Occupational Therapist at North Beach Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for designing and implementing customized occupational therapy plans for patients with a wide range of conditions, including those with physical disabilities, cognitive impairments, and mental health disorders. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to identify and address each patient's unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify patient needs and goals

Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to promote patient independence and functional abilities

Provide occupational therapy interventions, including but not limited to :

Therapeutic activities and exercises

Adaptive equipment training

Home exercise programs

Cognitive rehabilitation

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care

Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Participate in patient care conferences and other interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field

Current license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida

1 year of experience preferred
