Dedicated School Staffing proudly services Three Rivers Local School District for their substitute classified employees. We are currently recruiting for a Long-Term Title 1 Tutor. Previous work experience with school aged children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Title 1 Teacher by assisting students in reinforcing concepts, preparing necessary material, recording and maintaining files.
• Knowledge of Dibble, NWEA, Orton Gillingham, LLI or willing to learn these curricula and learning concepts
• Support students onsite-rotate from class to class
• Knowledge of state testing
• Physically able to perform required duties
• Ability to deal effectively, assertively, and pleasantly with public, staff and students

• Related experience with special needs children or adults, and/or direct care preferred

• Three positive professional work references
• Online Public School Works Training (we provide):
  • Blood-Borne Pathogens
  • School Lock Down
  • Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness
  • Bullying

After Hire (Contingent):

• Ohio Teaching Certificate or License, as issued by the Ohio State Department of Education or Associate's Degree or higher preferred
• Clean FBI/BCI Background checks (cost depending on agency)
• Educational Aide Permit ($25) with ESEA Endorsement ($20) (We can assist with the online application process and completion)
