Pay : $130 Hr.

Coverage dates : ASAP – 3-6 Months with option to extend

Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant or Experienced Nurse Practitioner (Must have RNFA Certification if NP)

Setting : Hospital & Clinic settings

Schedule : Monday - Friday, OR – 7 : 00a-3 : 45p; Inpatient Rounding 7 : 15a-3 : 45p

Daily Responsibilities : Inpatient Rounding, OR (Mainly Hospital) – Depending on how many cases prescheduled, 1 provider scheduled for OR, 1 Back up, and 2 scheduled to do the rounding on the floor. Depending on providers skill level, they may be assigned to OR.

Pulling Epicardial Wires, Chest Tubes, Vein Harvesting and MUST be proficient in EVH and First Assist. Radial artery harvest experience

Call Schedule / Responsibilities : 1 : 4 Rotation between providers. 1 : 4 weekday and 1 : 4 weekends. On Weekdays will likely get a handful of calls but rarely go in. On Weekends, Provider will round in the AM for a few hours then be on call the remainder of the time. Will take calls but not likely to go back in.

Patients per shift : Generally, 2 OR cases per day. 10-15 patients per day if they are rounding.

EMR : Epic

Credentialing timeframe : 45-60 Days upon application submitted.

Requirements :

Active unrestricted OR License

Active ACLS & BLS certifications

Minimum 3 years of experience

Board Certified

Vaccination Requirement : Required with Booster

Full-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted.

Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
