Technical Analyst
Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite/Hybrid)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Analyst to support AI-first software delivery by partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and QA. This role focuses on translating strategy into clear, testable, development-ready requirements while leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve speed, quality, and clarity across the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate epics and strategy into backlog ready user stories with clear acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements
- Lead backlog refinement and ensure high standards for story readiness and traceability
- Use AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows to accelerate requirements creation and documentation
- Analyze and document APIs, data contracts, integrations, and dependencies
- Collaborate closely with engineering to break stories into buildable tasks and iterate in short delivery cycles
- Partner with QA on test case design, UAT support, and defect triage
- Maintain clear, current documentation and drive alignment across stakeholders
- Track and improve delivery metrics such as cycle time and rework
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience with backlog management and story slicing
- Expertise writing clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience with APIs, JSON, and tools such as Swagger, Postman, or SQL
- Hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Amazon Q, or similar)
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills across cross-functional teams
