Applications Engineering Manager (Chicago area)

We’re recruiting for an FAE Manager to lead a team of Field Application Engineers in the Chicago metro area (Romeoville, IL). This onsite role blends technical leadership, sales support, and customer-facing collaboration.

What You’ll Do

Provide front-line technical sales support across business divisions

Deliver product training through presentations and hands-on sessions

Lead Technical Bid Reviews (TBR) to support new product and process development

Work directly with customers and sales reps to design tailored solutions that meet requirements while ensuring profitability

Conduct market research to analyze competitors and identify opportunities for improvement

Champion product enhancements and manage implementation from concept to launch

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA preferred)

Solid background in electrical and mechanical systems

Experience in field applications, technical sales, or engineering leadership

Knowledge of power systems and grid automation

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor FAEs

Onsite presence required daily in Romeoville, IL

$110K–$150K base salary + quarterly bonus
