Position overview

We are seeking a BC / BE Interventional / Non-Structural Cardiologist in Carbondale, IL to join our team Performing the full range of interventional, structural and EP procedures. 2 hours outside of downtown St. Louis, MO, 3 hours from Nashville, TN, & 3 hours outside of Memphis, TN.

Interventional opportunity :

• Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
• Board Certified or Board Eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
• High volume Coronary Intervention procedures
• Monday - Friday 8am-4 : 30 pm office hours
• EPIC EMR
• New fellow graduates are welcome to apply
• Position does support J1 visa
• Prairie Cardiovascular of Carbondale is on campus of Memorial Hospital -Carbondale, IL

Qualifications

Education

Clinical doctorate is required.

Experience

Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.

Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.

Must be board certified or board eligible.
