As a Controller, you will help our clients transform their business with a collaborative approach that allows them to seamlessly mitigate risk, overcome challenges, meet deadlines, and identify personnel to help them with their workforce needs. / ph3Primary Responsibilities : / h3ulliDevelop full knowledge of GAAP (FASB / SFAS) and deep understanding of financial and operational aspects of the technology industry. / liliDevelop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting. / liliCoordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investment activities for all or part of an organization. / liliPrepare financial information. / liliPrepare, or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies. / liliEvaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses and make appropriate recommendations. / liliMonitor ratio and key performance indicators (KPI). / liliMonitors and evaluates the performance of accounting and other financial staff, recommending and implementing actions. / liliAdvise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions. / liliCommunicate on a regular basis with boards, bankers, investors, constituents, etc.; may include prepping for and / or hosting board presentations. / li / ulh3What You Will Need : / h3ulliBachelors degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree. CPA certification is preferred but not required. / lili6 years relevant work experience as a Controller or equivalent is required. / liliAccounting back-office experience is required. / liliRelevant experience in the Technology industry is highly preferred! Public accounting experience preferred but not required. / liliAptitude for developing and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of accounting software and systems. QuickBooks experience is preferred. / liliProficiency with applicable software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). / liliThis position works primarily in-office and requires frequent local travel to / from local area client sites.
