Environmental Compliance Manager

The Environmental Compliance Manager plays a key role in supporting the Area Environmental Manager in overseeing environmental compliance and permitting activities across more than 12 states within a designated geographic area. This position helps ensure consistent adherence to environmental regulations, drives operational excellence, and fosters a proactive compliance culture through collaboration and hands-on engagement. • Support the management of environmental compliance programs across retail stores, manufacturing sites, fulfillments centers and, distribution centers ensuring consistent execution of regulatory requirements.
• Assist with air permitting processes, including data collection, documentation, and reporting to meet federal, state, and local requirements.
• Translate complex environmental regulations into actionable guidance for facility teams.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and risk assessments; assist in developing and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide direct support to facility leaders, supervisors, hourly associates, and contractors to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed environmental requirements into daily operations.
• Assist in communications with regulatory agencies during inspections, reporting, and enforcement actions.
• Monitor environmental performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help develop and deliver training programs on environmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay informed on evolving environmental regulations and agency expectations in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Idaho.
