Your Responsibilities:

• Assess emergency situations and determine the best course of action according to progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize life-saving equipment and techniques to provide advanced medical care, including defibrillators and intravenous therapy.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure they are informed and reassured throughout the care process.
• Lead your team effectively and take charge of scene and unit management as required.
• Drive the ambulance during 911 responses safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals to deliver seamless patient care.
• Engage with the community through outreach programs to enhance our image and foster strong relationships.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License and Driver's License
• Ambulance Driver's License and Medical Examiner's Card
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Ability to pass the Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, ideally in healthcare

Pay Range: $39.30 - $58.52 per hour (applies to a 12-hour shift)
