Inventory Controller

Hi-Line, Inc., a U. S. distributor and service provider of industrial aftermarket products, is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller. This position will be responsible for inventory management of Maintenance Repair & Operations (MRO) parts and supplies for our Distribution Center and over 100 Mobile Stores nationwide. We serve over 30 different industries across the USA, such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, federal / local government, and heavy equipment.  We provide direct delivery and superior inventory management solutions from our fleet of fully stocked Mobile Industrial Hardware Stores.

Essential Responsibilities and Skills (other duties as necessary) :

• Stock Management : Analyze and approve daily Auto Stock Replenishments (ASRs), work with Territory Managers (TMs) on annual inventory, bring back unproductive inventory from the field, and set min / max levels in both the Distribution Center (DC) and Stores
• Data & Analytics : Analyze stock levels, identify discrepancies, generate financial and inventory reports, and act on what the data tells us.
• Cost Control : Work with the Purchasing team on process improvement ideas to control costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Auditing : Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports for opportunities to improve accuracy.
• Communication : Confidently and clearly interact with Territory Managers (sales team).
