I'm hiring for a proud Louisiana community bank, and our lending team is growing. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-minded Loan Assistant / Loan Operations Support professional to help us serve our customers and local businesses with the efficiency and personal care they deserve.

In this behind-the-scenes role, you’ll work side-by-side with our loan officers and credit team to prepare documentation, monitor loan files, and ensure every loan is processed accurately and in compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commercial, consumer, and real-estate loan officers throughout the loan process — from application through post-closing

• Prepare, review, and maintain loan documentation for accuracy and compliance

• Track loan renewals, insurance, and collateral documentation

• Monitor loan ticklers and exceptions, helping the team stay audit-ready

• Communicate with customers, title companies, and internal departments to keep loans on track

• Provide administrative support to the Loan and Credit departments

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in banking, loan operations, or loan processing

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Knowledge of loan documentation and regulatory requirements a plus

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with loan systems (Jack Henry, Fiserv, etc.)

• Team player with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
