Opening for Internal Medicine Physician in Richmond, Indiana

  • Opportunity in Richmond, Indiana
  • Dayton 45m; Indianapolis 70m; Cincinnati 70m : Columbus OH; 100m

Position Details :

  • Full Time; Hospital employed position
  • Permanent Position
  • Employed Opportunity
  • Seeking a patient-centered and empathetic Physician to join a Pediatric & Internal Medicine team
  • This individual will provide and manage direct patient care, perform physical examinations and tests, obtain medical history and documentation, and instruct patients regarding diagnosis, medications, and treatment.
  • Team : 4 physicians, 2 NP's, and support staff (LPN's, OA's, MA's, lab staff)
  • Schedule : Office Hours : 7am - 4pm
  • Call Schedule : 2 day / week, 1 weekend / month peds

    • Education / Experience :

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified Required : Pediatrics / Internal Medicine OR Family Medicine
  • Experience Requirements : Open to newly trained fellows and practicing physicians
  • Licensure : Indiana Medical License
  • Certifications : Must maintain BLS / ACLS

    • About the area : Richmond Indiana is one of those fabulous places which have something to offer everyone. Located in East Central Indiana, Richmond is an easy drive to Dayton, Cincinnati and Indianapolis putting you in the middle of 3 international airports making traveling that much more accessible. History and architecture enthusiasts are in for a treat when they visit the Old Richmond Historic District, the Historical Museum and the Wayne County Courthouse. The area around Richmond is rich in outdoor recreational activities and you will never be far from a scenic walking trail or a lovely outdoor area highlights include Glen Miller Park and the Hayes Arboretum. For petrol heads and children, the Model T Ford Museum and the Depot District are must sees. On the odd rainy day you can spend a few fun and educational hours at the Joseph Moore Museum or the Richmond Art Museum.
