ATL - HIHF - Fleet Lead Team Member

Higher Level Logistics LLC Fleet Lead Team Member (Hybrid Role : On the Road & Yard)

About the Role : We are seeking a motivated and dependable Fleet Lead Team Member to support both yard operations and on-the-road responsibilities. This hybrid position is designed for individuals who can balance driver coaching, compliance monitoring, and hands-on yard oversight. The role is half on the road and half in the yard, ensuring seamless coordination between drivers, dispatch, and operations leadership. Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct driver coaching sessions using Netradyne data and safety reports.
  • Audit Hours of Service (HOS) logs and support driver compliance.
  • Oversee yard operations, including pre-trip / post-trip inspections and safety audits.
  • Ensure truck cleanliness, fueling, and readiness for use.
  • Maintain tracker devices, phone / tablet mounts, and related driver tools.
  • Act as liaison with mechanics (Amerit) to ensure efficient vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Provide reporting and communication to operations leadership regarding safety, compliance, and fleet condition.

Qualifications (Must-Haves) :

  • Flexibility Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operational needs. Administration Experience Strong organizational and documentation skills to support compliance, training, and reporting. CDL License Valid Commercial Drivers License required for on-the-road responsibilities. Hybrid Schedule Readiness Willingness to work half on the road and half in the yard as scheduled.

    • Work Structure : Reports to : Senior & Assistant Operations Manager Collaborates with : Dispatch, Amerit Mechanics, Security & Safety Teams, Yard Management Schedule : Revolving and flexible, based on operational needs.

    Compensation details : 22 Hourly Wage
