Sustainability and Wellness Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports Sustainability & Wellness by advancing the organization’s sustainability and wellness
goals. Position responsible for administrative and logistical support for events, event
attendance, projects, and internal initiatives. The representative will facilitate communication
and collaboration across teams to ensure smooth execution of internal and external initiatives
and maintain compliance with organizational standards. This position requires a detail-oriented
individual who is passionate about sustainability and or health and wellness and is committed to
making a positive impact. Responsibilities

Sustainability:

1. Assists the Sustainability and Wellness Coordinator in planning and executing
sustainability-related events, including fairs, cleanups, and recycling programs.
2. _____ Manages internal and external event logistics including setup, breakdown, staffing,
gathering materials, and timely submission of necessary paperwork or fees.
3. _____ Supports various internal sustainability projects, research, and audits including but not
limited to waste/recycling and energy/water.
4. _____ Collects and records data to track project progress and outcomes.
5. _____ Assists Coordinator in implementing and supporting programs and initiatives that
relate to employee health, fitness, and mental well-being.
6._____ Contributes to planning and execution of internal health and wellness events such as
wellness challenges, workshops, resource fairs, and activities to encourage a healthier lifestyle
among employees and foster a culture of well-being.
7. ______ Collects and records data to track event impact and results.

Marketing & Communications:

8. Communicates with cross-functional teams to support internal sustainability and
wellness initiatives.
9. Maintains accurate records of events and activities to assist in communicating the
results of initiatives and events for marketing purposes.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Health, or a related field (preferred), or
equivalent experience.

Experience: Previous experience in event planning, sustainability, and/or health and wellness promotion (preferred).

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Passion for environmental sustainability and employee wellbeing.

Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills. Complete proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint.

Certificates and Licenses: Must have a valid CA driver's license, proof of insurance and driving record
acceptable by Goodwill's insurance company.
