Job Description :

  • Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone office; answering or referring inquiries.
  • The medical assistant prepares patients for the health care visit by directing and / or accompanying them to the examining room;
  • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and / or recording medical history; medications; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
  • taking electrocardiograms. EHR experience.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential
  • Preparing Charts for upcoming appts making sure all revelent documents are readily available to the providers
  • Must be a team player
  • Communicates effectively with providers and staff
  • Travel between Starke and East Palataka locations
  • Referrals and scheduling patients
  • Authorizations
  • Able to handle heavy patient load
  • May require Travel to cover at times to other locations
