Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher dedicated to supporting diverse learners in an educational setting. This role is based in Topeka, KS, and involves working under a contract to provide tailored instructional support to students with special needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and state guidelines
- Adapting classroom materials and teaching techniques to meet varying abilities and learning styles
- Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records of academic and behavioral development

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
