Laboratory Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Laboratory Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Miramar, FL . This is a 3+ month contract with the possibility of a contract hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Title: Laboratory Assistant Location: Miramar, FL 33025 Pay Rate: $18.90/hr. on W2. Duration: M-F 11:00 am to 7:30 pm Shift: Multiple shifts available *Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Receive, sort, prepare, store, and retrieve specimens Perform centrifuging, aliquoting, labeling, slide prep, and basic testing setup Maintain equipment, work areas, records, and QA/QC standards Prepare reagents/media and resolve pending or missing samples Follow PPE, safety, biohazard disposal, and regulatory requirements Use laboratory computer systems and complete required training Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant training a plus) Strong multitasking, organization, and teamwork skills Reliable transportation, punctuality, and full-shift availability required Excessive absenteeism or tardiness is grounds for termination Bilingual candidates who speak Spanish.
