Marketing and Communications Intern

Are you a student looking for a meaningful, part-time internship where you can earn academic credit, gain hands-on experience, and help share the stories of the next generation of professionals?

As a Marketing and Communications Intern at CRJ, you'll work 8–10 hours per week with the Marketing and Communications Supervisor to gather and highlight stories from CRJ students and their Corporate Work Study supervisors. These stories will showcase students' skills and promote the value of partnering with CRJ and CWSP. This internship offers the chance to earn academic credit and receive a modest compensation while gaining real-world marketing and communications experience.

Internship Duration: Expected to begin in mid‑February of 2026 and continue through the end of the current school year (May–June).

POSITION SUMMARY:

This part-time, 8-10 hour/week internship will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Supervisor to gather stories from CRJ students and their Corporate Work Study supervisors that will be used to promote the benefits of partnering with CRJ and CWSP, as well as showcase the skills earned by CRJ students at their workplaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create CWSP marketing collateral
• Content generation for CWSP by attending 2-3 CWSP workplaces a week
  • Take pictures of students doing tasks at their workplace
  • Record video of students and supervisors at workplace getting testimonials on benefits of being a CRJ student and a CWSP partner
  • Obtain and document photo/video permissions in accordance with school and Archdiocese policies
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with students, supervisors, and partners
• Create digital library of testimonials and experiences for future marketing uses
• Create Social Media posts around CWSP activities
• Ensure all content aligns with CRJ branding guidelines, mission, and values
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Currently enrolled in or recently attending college (preferably in Marketing, Communications, Media, Education, or a related field)
• Effective communicator and storyteller
• Photography/videography skills preferred
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to balance internship responsibilities with academic commitments
• Commitment to the Mission and Values of CRJHS
• Desire to work with high school students
• Sensitivity to the ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds of the student body
• Completion of the Archdiocese Safe Environment training for CRJ Milwaukee is required.
