POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Associate Event Accountant will assist the Event Accounting team in their efforts to successfully finalize billing for the Event Solution Line.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting
• Minimum two years’ work experience in a related field
• Ability to organize work and manage several projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to learn quickly, be resourceful and conduct daily tasks independently and in a proactive manner. Capable of seeing the big picture while understanding how each element contributes to the greater whole. Must be competent to project how a change or delay in one area will impact the overall project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with all team members, internal sales team and internal customers.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally on client programs.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with an emphasis in solution development
• Display a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Positive attitude with the ability to represent ITA Group in a polished and respectful manner when interacting with internal and external clients.
• Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred
• Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and / or meet deadlines
