[job_card.job_description]Lead maintenance and engineering operations to ensure equipment reliability and production efficiency Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant performance and reduce unplanned downtime Manage a maintenance budget of approximately $5.5M and a team of 45 skilled trades employees Oversee capital projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with production and business objectives Foster a culture of safety, engagement, and operational excellence across the plan Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a strong safety culture Provide leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance and engineering teams Plan and execute maintenance and engineering projects, including capital improvements and equipment upgrades Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs to optimize uptime and reliability Collaborate with plant leadership and production teams to align strategies with overall business goals Monitor and improve plant equipment, systems, and operational processes Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive efficiency and cost savings Education : A combination of relevant education and substantial maintenance and engineering leadership experience, including candidates without a traditional bachelor’s degree Leadership Experience : +5 years in a manufacturing environment overseeing maintenance and engineering functions Project Expertise : Demonstrated success managing capital projects and delivering measurable improvements Technical Skills : Strong project management capability, including prioritization and problem-solving Team Leadership : Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse skilled trades teams Continuous Improvement : Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Communication Strength : Ability to clearly communicate and influence at all levels of the organization Adaptability : Comfort navigating ambiguity while maintaining a strong sense of urgency Comprehensive medical, dental & vision insurance with options suited to different needs.
