• Monthly Bonus: Up to $600/month

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of our patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for patients including performing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our a collaborative manner the RT will provide support to Medical Providers Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management organization and communication.

Key Responsibilities Responsible for x-ray services as needed

• Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.

• Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use.

• Will need to push patient in a wheelchair

• Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns perform preventive maintenance and submit repair tickets as needed.

Additional Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required

• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Social perceptiveness and service oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma (required)

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required)

Certifications (Required at Time of Hire):

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required.

• Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.

• Valid State Drivers License

Experience:

• Previous clinical experience preferred
