Position Information Posting Number PG195517TM Position Number 48KB27 Position Type Temporary Essential Job Duties This position serves as part of the Life Safety/Electronics-Specialty Shop team, ensuring the smooth operation of critical safety and monitoring systems across campus. The role involves both preventive maintenance and hands-on installations or modifications to essential systems that support the safety, security, and functionality of the university.As an Electronics Specialist, you will perform tasks such as:

• Conducting routine and preventive maintenance inspections on: Life Safety Systems Fire Detection and Suppression Systems Security Systems CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) Systems Equipment Monitoring Systems Other miscellaneous electronic systems and subsystems
• Installing, maintaining, and modifying fire detection and suppression systems, Life Safety equipment, card access systems, CCTV, and equipment monitoring tools.
• Responding to repair requests and troubleshooting issues with various electronic components to ensure systems operate at peak performance.
• Coordinating with other teams and vendors to guarantee timely inspections and installations.

Requirements and Preferences Work Schedule Schedule of M-F 4:00 pm to 12:30 am 100% on site Other Work/Responsibilities N/A Minimum Experience/Education High School Diploma or completion of GED Department Required Skills

• Experience working with security systems, and CCTV systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic systems.
• Knowledge of safety codes and regulations related to Life Safety systems is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and vendors.
