Sales Architect / Technical Sales – Pharma & Advanced Analytics / Generative AI

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Sales Architect / Technical Sales professional with deep technical expertise in Advanced Analytics, AI / ML, and Generative AI, paired with authoritative domain knowledge in Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences.

This is a client-facing, technically oriented growth role—not a traditional quota-carrying sales position. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical executives, leading complex solution design, shaping multi-million-dollar opportunities, and driving strategic revenue expansion through technical credibility and consultative engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and expand long-term strategic relationships with C-suite and senior leaders at top pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations.
  • Lead solution architecture and technical presales discussions centered on AI / ML, Generative AI, and advanced analytics use cases specific to drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory submissions, real-world evidence, pharmacovigilance, and commercial analytics.
  • Partner closely with delivery, engineering, and innovation teams to develop differentiated, high-impact proposals and reference architectures.
  • Generate and accelerate sales pipeline through thought leadership, executive workshops, industry events, and proactive opportunity identification.
  • Articulate complex technical capabilities in clear business language, demonstrating measurable value and ROI for pharmaceutical stakeholders.
  • Remain at the forefront of emerging trends in Generative AI, synthetic data, digital twins, regulatory technology, and patient-centric innovation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 12–18 years of progressive experience combining deep Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences domain expertise with strong technology solutioning.
  • Proven success in technical presales, solution architecture, client partnership, or equivalent strategic roles within top-tier consulting or system integration environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain : Research & Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Safety / Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial functions.
  • Hands-on experience designing and positioning AI / ML and Generative AI solutions using leading platforms and cloud ecosystems (Azure, Google Cloud Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker, etc.).
  • Demonstrated consultative selling acumen and ability to influence executive decision-makers.
  • Exceptional communication, narrative-building, and executive presentation skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacology, or related disciplines.
  • Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or AI / ML frameworks (e.g., Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML Specialty, Google Professional ML Engineer).
  • Direct experience with Generative AI platforms and tools such as OpenAI GPT series, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Vertex AI Generative Suite, Azure OpenAI Service, or similar.
