Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and follow through on deadlines. Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and basic CRM or quoting software (training provided). A friendly, proactive attitude and professional demeanor. Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sales Assistant to join our catering company’s sales team. This role supports the Accounts Manager in daily sales operations, with a primary focus on managing standard client inquiries, preparing event quotes, and providing excellent customer service during the early stages of the sales process.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow into a sales or events-based role in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Response : Promptly respond to inbound leads and client inquiries via email, phone, and CRM tools.
- Quote Generation : Prepare and send event quotes and proposals for standard clients based on set templates, pricing tiers, and package guidelines.
- Sales Admin Support : Assist in updating lead logs, event calendars, payments, and internal tracking systems.
- Client Follow-Up : Manage basic follow-up communication for standard clients, including quote approvals and booking confirmations.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the Accounts Manager to ensure seamless handoff of premium clients and to escalate complex or high-value inquiries.
- Team Coordination : Support coordination between the sales, kitchen, and event teams to ensure alignment on scheduled events and client expectations.
