Job Title : Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to serve as a trusted advisor and mentor across our facility. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and foster a safe workplace environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor across the facility.

Leverage both experience and an innovative approach to EHS activities.

Anticipate potential workplace hazards, evaluate strategies for corrective action, assist in the implementation of controls, and track the completion of related projects at the facility level.

Analyze reports, metrics, and other relevant data to assist in the development of projects and improvement plans focused on reducing risk at the facility.

Coordinate response, investigation, and corrective actions related to EHS incidents.

Manage workers' compensation-related reports, documentation, data, and costs.

Develop and maintain databases relevant to the EHS activities of the facility.

Interpret regulations, industry best practices, academic papers, and other relevant information.

Ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations through education of the facility leadership, day-to-day EHS activities, programs, policies, and self-assessment audits.

Participate in corporate, customer, and government-related EHS audits.

Maintain accurate records and data in accordance with company, customer, and local guidelines.

Provide training on policies, regulations, and procedures as directed.

Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience as an EHS Manager

Strong computer skills

Knowledge of Environmental Health, Health & Safety, OSHA, EHS, and Industrial Hygiene

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in interpreting regulations and industry best practices

Experience in developing and maintaining EHS databases

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $133634.00 / yr.
