Structural Designer

Must-Have :

• 6+ years of experience as a structural designer
• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on Revit experience
• Strong foundation and steel design experience
• Ability to model in 3D and produce accurate cut sheets and 2D views
• Experience working with concrete and rebar detailing
• Skilled at adapting to changing project requirements and environments
• Ability to interpret engineering redlines and translate them into Revit models
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with engineers

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to join our client in the engineering and industrial design industry. This role will focus on creating detailed structural models and drawings in Revit, including foundations, steel framing, and concrete / rebar features. The designer will work on two projects at a time, collaborating directly with engineers to review redlines and translate conceptual designs into accurate 3D models and 2D sheets with elevations. Responsibilities include producing cut sheets, ensuring compliance with building codes, and maintaining accuracy across multidisciplinary teams. The position requires conceptual problem-solving skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and the ability to mentor junior team members while leading complex drawing packages.
