As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Team Member in Lewiston Woodville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. Learn more : aus.com / earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a food and beverage production location. Your presence helps to deter potential security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, and support a secure environment for all personnel. Pay Rate : $14.68 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with controlling access to designated areas, verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal and location staff during emergencies by following site-specific response protocols and providing clear communication.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
  • Follow all company and location-specific policies, procedures, and instructions related to security-related operations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
