Job Overview
Works with a Radiologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations that are crucial for the detection of illness, injury, and other medical conditions. The Certified Radiology Technician produces high-quality radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical problems. Provides essential support to ensure patients are comfortable and at ease throughout the course of the procedure. Prevents patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
Minimum Requirements
Graduation from an accredited radiology program required.
Must be registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) and certified in Radiology.
A minimum of one year experience required. Two years of experience preferred.
Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred.
Salary Range
$35.00 - $38.00 hourly
