Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized care consistent with the state’s scope and nursing standards. In collaboration with the healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive, compassionate care following established nursing models. Key responsibilities include :
Assessing patient conditions upon admission and during shifts, promptly reporting any changes.Performing procedures and administering care as prescribed, documenting in a timely fashion.Providing exceptional and responsive care, anticipating patient needs proactively.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement holistic treatment plans.Facilitating continuity of care by acting as the liaison between healthcare providers and community support systems.Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Current nursing license in good standing in the relevant state or compact license.Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 30 days of employment.This is an opportunity to be part of Trident Health, a leading healthcare system with 445 beds across two main hospitals and multiple emergency departments.
