Job / Position Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for customer product delivery schedules, planning, managing, and tracking. The Program Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leads all phases of assigned customer programs from initiation through delivery.
- Able to apply established technologies using standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to provide solutions to a variety of technical and programmatic problems.
- Assign and monitor the health of projects, providing team support and direction when necessary.
- Track all customer projects and deliverables.
- Accomplishes objectives through coordination and teamwork with other departments and stakeholders including suppliers and customers.
- Responsible for decisions that could greatly impact outcomes where erroneous decisions could cause serious schedule delays and expenditure of additional time and resources.
- Perform additional functions and other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering required.10+ years' of customer program management experience required.Experience in semiconductor / hardware industry required.Experience with aerospace and government procurement including DFARs and DCMA is preferred.This position will require lawful access to ITAR / EAR controlled information and employees in these roles will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident, or ability to meet contract-specific licensure requirements.Travel up to 10% to support contractual program milestone requirements such as PMRs and supplier visits.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrates technical expertise and application of program management principles, concepts, and practice as well as program management and leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones.Familiarity with traditional project management tools.Ability to develop solutions to problems that require coordination of technologies across program requirements.Working knowledge of Microsoft software suite including Project (or similar planning software).Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives.Customer obsessed and focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and within a team environment.Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Physical / Working Requirements
