Echo Technician | Irvine, California

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled echocardiographer with expertise in pediatric echoes (0-12 months) to contribute to a busy echocardiography unit. This contract position requires proficiency in performing comprehensive 2D transthoracic, 2D / 3D transesophageal, and pediatric echocardiograms using advanced GE E90, E95, and S70N equipment. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative team players dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiac imaging.

Location

This role is based in a vibrant Southern California medical center with 542 beds and a specialized echocardiography unit staffed by a team of 11 professionals. The unit operates primarily on day shifts with no night shift requirements, facilitating a focused and steady workflow. The facility uses Meditech EMR and Centricity Cardio Workflow (CCW) PACS.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms on infants aged 0-12 months with precision
• Conduct 2D transthoracic and 2D / 3D transesophageal echocardiograms
• Assist with Dobutamine stress tests and agitated saline echocardiograms
• Adhere to unit protocols and maintain compliance with echo procedure guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with the cardiology team to provide accurate diagnostic imaging
