Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated facilities team at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. You will be responsible for maintaining, installing and replacing hospital equipment as directed on work requests. Provide

support for other Maintenance personnel as required. Perform routine maintenance on following systems : Plumbing, Electrical, Patient Beds, HVAC and Refrigeration.

Responsibilities :

• Completes work requisitions assigned. Repairs, installs, replaces, and makes changes only as directed on work requests or as directed by supervisor / manager.
• Completes Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work requests as assigned (training and / or education to be provided by Manager of Plant Maintenance or designee).
• Provides support for other Maintenance personnel as required.
• Provides training for other Maintenance personnel in areas of expertise requested by Supervisor or Manager of Plant Maintenance.
• Performs routine rounds as requested and monitors necessary equipment and conditions.
• Performs routine maintenance on following systems : Plumbing, Electrical, Patient Beds, HVAC, Refrigeration and Fire Prevention Equipment.
• Works well without direct supervision.
